As the weather is slowly warming up here in the desert southwest, it’s time to think about keeping things cool. I’m a huge fan of sunscreen. It helps to reduce the actual sun and heat from getting to what you are trying to protect. I usually cover the garden to keep the plants from bursting into flames when it gets to triple digits. 😉 So I recovered the frames, they were looking pretty beat up. This should last a couple of years. (I remove it in the winter months)
I had some sunscreen leftover so I decided to give the split unit a/c a little shade as well. It might help it live a little longer. This is the unit for the backyard Tiki bar.
