My amazing wife booked a trip to Las Vegas for the day. On the itinerary was a stop at Frankie’s Tiki Bar, then the Wizard of Oz movie at the Sphere, and then a quick stop at Stray Pirate (Tiki adjacent). We had a great time! -Although the latter part of the day we were “dragging tail” a little bit.
Love those flights that are short and sweet! 45 minutes!
There’s nothing like starting the morning with a good Tiki cocktail! I had a “Three Dots and a Dash” and a “Lapu Lapu” and MA had a “Bearded Clam” (if you haven’t tried day drinking yet, give it a shot!)
We ran across the street for a quick bite at Wendy’s to take the edge off. Then it was “off to see the wizard”.
Pretty amazing experience! They had real wind and the seats shook! Felt like a real tornado.
Then off to the Stray Pirate.
Great bar, very good drinks.
