We tried some “boondocking” camping. That is where you are completely off the grid, no electric or water hookups. We went with three other couples. It was pretty fun! We did pretty well, we did use our generator when we had to make coffee. Other than that we were fine using propane for heat and cooking, and the coach battery for lights and small appliances.

Our cozy little campsite

We were pretty far out in the forest, no other campers nearby. It was very quiet. Due to the fire restrictions we couldn’t have a campfire, but propane fires were allowed. (no floating embers) All in all we had a great time. (Maggie too!)
